Breeding the two year old filly?

Clayfields,
Yes, can’t remember where right now. Interestingly enough, I seem to remember that there was a higher degree of embryo loss even in ET transfers

I wouldn’t, but one of the big Warmblood facilities that was in California did it routinely. They were very educated and very experienced, and their feeling was (1) they are 3 before pregnancy really affects their body, (2) a broodmare has a job, and their job is to reproduce, (3) if they don’t take after two tries as a 2 year old, they aren’t ready, try again next year, (4) this is how it has been done for ages in Germany

They were a highly successful breeding facility - and I suspect the big farms in Germany will tell you the same thing.
