Bridging Spondylosis?

I have a mare that is having a really hard time moving forward and freely under saddle. I sent her to get a bone scan and subsequent X-rays and nothing was found except for Bridging Spondylosis in the mid-thoracic area.

Anyone have experience with this? Looking to see how this has impacted other horses, and if you saw discomfort, what helped relieve it.

This article may help you.

Also, FWIW I have had a diagnosis of Grade II Spondoliothesis (sp) since 2012. What has helped me is cold laser therapy and shock wave therapy at the PT clinic. There equipment is much better than what I can afford.

But, I use a cold laser gun on my horses all the time for their spines, stifles, and even Scratches.
