I thought we could use a good old matchy matchy post so here it is! I have this pad. I have a nice winter outfit for it, but sadly the pad took forever to ship and I hate winter anyway so I need help with a summer outfit.
I’m seeking a matchy breeches and/or short sleeve top to match this pad. Breeches or shirt need to be as far under $100 as possible. Help me look like I ride better than I really do!

Then I would look for tan breeches.
Look for a print shirt with these general colors - more of the tan/silver/gold as the green will be tough to match.
See I am not a good matchy person because I would totally go with a nice light pink top and tan breeches - to look like flowers, green/tan stems, pink blossoms.
Totally random question: wouldn’t you get a sunburn where that mesh is across your shoulders?
Maybe a dark golden yellow (kinda like a sunflower), if it wouldn’t clash with horse’s color. Tan breeches.

I’m not a pattern kinda gal but that espoir sunshirt really caught my eye! Good thing I’m not XS size, otherwise I’d be tempted to buy it!

The answer is “yes.” I have one of those RJ classics sunshirts with the mesh across the top of the shoulders. I now have a permanent brown square on my shoulders from a bad burn through the mesh. 0/10, do not recommend, avoid the mesh.

I have a lot of their “Riding Sport” brand and the quality is good for the price.
You might look for golf/tennis sun shirts on eBay. Many of them are manufactured by the same companies, but there is more variety and they are often available like new for cheap. I bought several last year for $20-30 apiece, and they’re not the same 5 shirts everyone else is wearing.
