British Daily Mail articule is merely ridiculous

Her white “slacks”, her black and white horse, obviously a mere.

Wow, non-horse people write some interesting stuff about horses, but I have to say, that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a gray horse described as “black and white.”

It is pretty surprising they had no one on staff that knew even the basics of riding? Or even knew enough to know they didn’t know, and should look up some of those equestrian words?

The Daily Mail is not really a quality center of journalism. It is a gossip rag and pretty much considered unreliable on publishing general info articles. This sounds like it was written by someone with english as a second language or no true journalism training. Here are pictures, here is some general info, write x number of words. It almost sounds like those captions used to describe photos for vision impaired readers

“The Daily Mail is quality, well researched journalism” said nobody ever.

As for clickbait? Totally.

That’s what I thought.

Also it’s funny how much time was spent describing what they saw as her fashion choices.

No belt. Tsk tsk. And the fashion editor failed to catch that!

Pardon me, it’s probably a bilt.

More importantly, WHY are top hats still a thing? And what’s with the switch - helmet for warmup and top hat in the arena?

This is very funny. I couldn’t get through the article, too many pop up ads. It was gross. But I am still enjoying the thread.

2021 can not come fast enough! For this post the reason alone is top hats being banned!!!

Some of these folk still believe the top hat is the only way to ride FEI, sadly even MJ has said this. Tradition that is far too important to break. More important than their skull apparently.

I think I will likely do a facepalm upon reading the answer, but who is MJ? (Sorry, my age is showing. All I can think of is Michael Jackson.)

I imagine it’s Michael Jung.

Sorry, it is Michael Jung. Who just surpassed 100 International wins this week! Can’t wait to see him in a helmet next year.
