If you are an associate member of BD, their forums are going to full member only posts and anonymity is being stopped - all posts will be under real names. Associate members will be able to read but not post.
It will be interesting to see if the forum flourishes or dies!
Yes very long thread on there - BD Is very dissapointing at the moment in their attitude to members & inclusion of potential members Not sure yet if I’ll pay out £30 to join at the most basic level as not likely to compete yet and already paid out £25 this year to become join the BD supporters club
Hmm! It does sound as though the decision will come to sending lowers, or making a donation in their behalf!
I appreciate the theory behind their decision but I just think it it going to cause challenges as everyone re-thinks about what they post. Sure, in many cases, that’s a good thing to get away from the name calling, but what about the cases where they wish to offer advice but the OP takes it the wrong way? Quick way to move from people getting inflamed on message boards to people getting enflamed in RL…
