As the new turf season starts, we have a new trainer's story.

Most interesting! And the scenery plus horses is gorgeous. They said that racing center has the largest managed turf area in the world. I think it would be absolute heaven to gallop a horse across those fields.

I recall years ago an American expert coming to assess the training grounds around Newmarket and him saying that the going was perfect, the best he had ever found. The entire training area has been managed to suit horses for more than 400 years. Newmarket is an interesting place to visit. There are even town streets dedicated to horses!
