I was standing on the rail at the head of the stretch near the chute to watch this race. We saw Broad Broad head into the turn and his ears were just waggin and he switched to his outside lead, and we all said…uh oh…damn, if he didnt try to make the gap and head home. He figured he had done enough for the day.

I had to lol watching him try to make a break for it…lol and then he made it look so dang easy catching back up & passing everyone!

I have one of his granddaughters who is by Skip Away and out of Broad Gains, and her filly by E Dubai. Hoping the filly will be a talented racehorse – but for someone else – since I mostly do sporthorses!
