I broke my 5th metatarsal (Jones fracture). Anyone else do this and how long until you were cleared to ride? Lasting issues?
I did this probably 10+ years ago. I think I couldn’t ride for 6 weeks then rode without stirrups for 2-3 more. The doc tried to ground me for 12-20 but I wasn’t having it. I can’t say there were lasting effects more than any other break. Imho breaks will always twinge here and there for a a year or so but usually after two weeks the major pain is gone.
