i worked at the post office as a driver…its one length for ever 10 miles per hour and more if driving a heavy truck and more if the driver in front is tailgating the vehicle in front of them…

I’m driving a rental car this week that has a feature I’ve never seen before. It has a number on the dashboard display that I think is the number of seconds you would have if you needed to stop before you hit the car in front of you.
The number changes based on your speed and following distance.
