Right now I have both my TB’s on Sentinel Performance LS and they are doing great. The youngster off the track is just off stall rest about a month now so I’m starting put some weight on him. My older man (20) has been on the Sentinel for about 3 years now and does phenomenal on it. I know, I know… why change if they are doing so well?? Well the Safe N Easy Performance is about $5 bag cheaper. It’s lower in NSC than the Sentinel 12.5% v 16% but it’s also a bit lower in calories 1450/lb v 1580/lb. The Safe N Easy also has no corn, the Sentinel does but it’s so low on the ingredients list I don’t worry about it unless the horse has a problem with it.
I do like Buckeye feeds and this would be available at my feed mill versus buying the Sentinel at TSC.
TIA!
