Don’t want to sound harsh but I would get a velcro rider to ride her thru the transitions for a few weeks. Then you have to have the seat and guts to ask for canter, mean it and be able to sit thru any resistance, otherwise I’m afraid you are probably over-horsed and need more of a steady Eddie.

Does she buck during walk/canter transitions? My young horse learned walk to canter before trot/canter For some reason it was easier for him. Maybe easier for him to balance?
