Fun story on the behind the scenes work for their ad - https://www.wsj.com/business/media/superbowl-2024-commercials-budweiser-clydesdale-9d0ea096?st=2mrvaoi9ilsfso4&reflink=article_copyURL_share
Nice article, thank you. I always look forward to their SB offering
Darn, it is a WSJ article and I can not access it.
See if this works - https://www.wsj.com/business/media/super-bowl-2024-commercials-budweiser-clydesdale-advertising-9d0ea096
Thank you for trying!!!
It still wants me to subscribe.
When I clicked 2 days ago I was able to read (& screenshot).
Maybe there’s some sort of WSJ Timeout on free access?
A retrospective look at the Budweiser Superbowl ads (most of them with the Clydes a few with frogs);
Here is the ad from this year:
Budweiser | Super Bowl LVIII Old School Delivery (youtube.com)
Brings back memories of when Bud was owned by the Busch family and Elizabeth Busch Burke’s passionate involvement in the hunter / jumper world.
She made things happen.
Kind of a cop-out of an ad, I have to say…
I kind of think it is a great way to go back to using the horses in their ads. Which I think was the point of the ad, they are going back to how things were.
I see that the lab actually belongs to Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn?
