Tell me about your Hilltop Bugatti foals?
Love my Bugatti mare out of a TB. Super mover, adequate jumper and a true ammie horse. Schooling 4th level, trained only by her older ammie owner, evented to training level and won. Husband hacks her out, safe for all. Premium in every registry she has been presented to, very high MPT scores. Bugatti produces great minds, foals not always consistent in type or size
FYI and from a breeding standpoint, I was told on Facebook that Bugatti had been sold to the RCMP in Canada. I have not personally confirmed this by asking Natalie at Hilltop if this was indeed true, so you may want to double check his availability. The RCMP are a closed Hanoverian breeding farm and do not offer their stallions to the public, although every 2 years they hold an auction so some of his babies from the RCMP’s very exceptional Hanoverian mares might become available for sale in the future.
You may want to confirm whether Hilltop Farm still has some of his frozen available.

Elizabeth’s Bugatti mare is just so beautiful and a really, really good mover. I also have a 4 year old Bugatti mare that is a very good mover, but only an adequate jumper. Dressage is really her thing, very rideable. She also received very high MPT scores, all predicated on her gaits and rideability and not so much on her jumping ability. She is very sensible and a willing worker, and so far, as a 4 year old, her median Training Level score is 73.8% and in Materiale it is 82%. But I agree with Elizabeth, in type and size, she looks like her mother.
I have a 2.5 year old Bugatti/Cacique gelding. In type takes after his mother; height is taller than either parent but his dam always throws much taller then herself - he’ll probably finish close to 17h like all her other foals have done. He’s a very nice mover - was premium, foal of distinction, and stallion prospect at his Oldenburg approvals. Now at 2.5 I feel like he’s a better hunter mover than dressage, but I’m hoping that’s just a growth spurt issue since I plan to point him to the dressage ring! A little sensitive in temperament, but not in a bad way - very smart and sweet, just not a dead-head. Again that takes after his mother. I lightly backed him this summer and he was great. When he goes into work next year I think he’ll be forward and light to the aids, but not a nervous or spooky horse.
Thanks very much, I appreciate your feedback! Not looking to breed, looking at a young Bugatti offspring
I have bred two by Bugatti. Both very much favor their mother. The first is a 2004 model and was superb under saddle - very willing to work, forward, light, but very brave and sensible. The second will be started next spring and so far he looks like he will be very much the same.
