Building Small horse facility stall help

Building small home horse property in Arizona. Many questions! My first one is I have my shade and panels figured. I can’t afford an enclosed barn and probably don’t need one in Arizona. But that said I will house my show horse who I would like to keep matted and bedded well. Does anyone have pictures or explain how I can add boards to the bottom of corral panels to block wind?

I can add boards to the bottom of corral panels to block wind?

we have used windscreen netting, the stuff commonly found on tennis courts/ball parks… easy to install. There are varying degrees of blockage available. All are UV tolerant. There are company that will custom fabricate panels also…these are at least around here commonly used on riding arenas

You can get all kinds of screens from here:

For the bottom, you will want treated wood of some kind.
The way most attach the wood to metal panels is with self tapping screws.
You can get the right kind for that at any hardware store.
Or you can drill small holes and use baling wire to tie the wood on there.

I have seen plywood attached with zip ties.

Brackets like these can be really easy to put wood boards or plywood up on metal posts

Wedge-loc has a plywood holder for attaching plywood to t-posts. http://www.kencove.com/fence/Wedge-Loc+Plywood+Holder_detail_HWPH.php

You could drill holes in the plywood to attach to posts with zip ties.

Or, if you have a way to cover the hooks, you could use heavy duty black rubber tie-downs stretched across the plywood and hooked to the t-posts.
