It takes a few minutes to sort out a fall. The start will go on hold until the course is confirmed to be clear.
It’s a black flag option with the jump as they come out of the water. The theory is the more direct line is to jump the fish in the water, so you can come out of the water and head straight for home instead of making a slight S turn to the other option. Lucinda was saying the water jump maybe saves 3 seconds, but you run the risk of a horse pecking in the water to water. Most likely won’t take that option and risk a silly fall late in course.

It always amazes me how difficult the course always looks, and yet, it seems to ride beautifully. And so far, no horse falls.

He looked very good and very fast. There is a lot of trouble at the Leaf pit, a lot of run outs at the final element, and Wabbit made nothing of it.

another run out at the 3rd element at the Leaf Pit. I think they are all coming too fast, and the horse dives out to the right.

He’s catching a lot out there. I like that as he’s weeding out the combos but no bad falls/no horse falls.

I am a little surprised that they aren’t putting up the times as they go. don’t they usually do that? So you have no idea how fast or slow they are going till nearly the end.
