Burgundy Show Coat in Hunters

I tried this jacket on about two weeks ago. it was AH-Maz-ing. Totally going to get one once I drop a few pounds. Sigh.

If I still had my dark bay, I would consider burgundy. I think it looks great. But alas, I have chestnuts…and burgundy would look terrible.

If the Dutch can wear orange, I really don’t see how burgundy is all that crazy. there are like 10 people that look good in orange.

Just look in a catalog designed for fox hunters. Plenty of canary there. Kristin Hardin in CA made her own…dyed some breeches yellow. Ha!

:disgust::eek::eek: I don’t even care for the look of the new fabrics, let alone weird/off colors, but I am an uber traditional old fuddy duddy…

Horse Country in VA carries canary, as would any store with significant fox hunting clientele. There was at least one staff member at the hunt I went out with last season who wore canary routinely. It’s not the most common anymore, but you still see it in the field-- not so much in the show ring.
