Uh, sorry. Wrong guess. First Delahoussaye’s wife thought I was somebody I wasn’t, now you. If you’ve been following this marathon thread you’d see I have no horses. I don’t train or own, nor do I have any association whatsoever with that track as I’ve said numerous times. Although your post was obviously aimed at someone else, I certainly wish you all the best with your horses.[/QUOTE]
Wow. Gave me a lot of time to respond to your PM, huh? I came on here to edit my post removing all references to the mistaken identity as you requested in your PM. But I guess you cleared up who you are. Or at least who you aren’t.
I was going to edit my post for you.
I haven’t been on COTH for very long, and rarely post unless I have something constructive or helpful to say, and would never say something that I would mind being associated with my name, which is why I post under my own name, not just a screen name. But I understand that half the fun for some people (and I don’t mean you in particular, just people in general) is the anonymous nature of screen names–let’s them say whatever they want without worry of recrimination.
I did read this whole thread, although it was some months ago, and now I just read the new posts to it. I didn’t pay enough attention to your specific posts to remember that you have no horses, and are not an owner or trainer. My apologies.
You said you know who I meant, so if you know her, you will probably also know that you two are in agreement, almost verbatim, on a lot of the topics affecting racing today. Reading your posts, I can almost picture her! And she owned a horse for many years named Profidia (Proffie), so you can understand my confusion of the two of you. It wasn’t meant to offend you or inconvience you either.
I appreciate your well wishes to me and our (my husband and myself) horses. All the best to you as well.
