Dispatcher, she appears to be so paranoid and disturbed by what she has done, that all posts and comments are viewed and internalized. This I am 100% sure of
Good.
I suppose the reward for the missing horse is another red herringâŠ
She gave the horse away. The problem is Stephanie can not remember who she gave it to. Give me a FREAKING BREAK. Make the reward $1,000,000. Wonât matter.
I want to make sure that all viewers to this thread understand why many of us are so passionate and frustrated/disgusted with Stephanie Beatties mindless actions. She is a self proclaimed horse lover and advocate for animal rights in this business. She is at the point position, leading an attempt to construct and operate a first class retirement facility in Pennsylvania. AND NOW SHE EXPECTS US TO HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT SHE HAS NO RECOLLECTION OR IDEA WHERE SHE HAS SENT SOME OF HER HORSES. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THE HYPOCRISY MAY BE ONE OF THE MOST NAUSEATING THINGS THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN HORSE RACING.
And her âbusiness parnershipâ with darrel delahoussaye is beyond belief. Sending a group of horses to a convicted felon and known animal abuser (all facts that can be seen in his many rulings), including one with serious debilitating structural injuries, just gleams of irresponsibility and contempt.
Stephanie, you have been caught red handed. Your stories are beyond belief. WHERE THE HELL IS THE HORSE?
Well as an aside, I just threw my hat in the ring to possibly become Penn Nationalâs official transition home for retiring race horses. Hopefully fiascos like this will be a thing of the past once they are able to offer a viable, humane alternative to âgiving a horse away.â
HBPA
Was SB elected to her HPBA post? If yes, when, and how is this possible, given her rep with the general horemenâs population at Penn? Who ran against her and lost? Is it possible, by a popular vote or referendum, to have her removed?
The Friday deadline still stands. Produce the horse or admit your fault completely in the missing horse situation and unethical dispersal of horses or PETA will be contacted. I can assure you that they will be working with a cooperative management to full disclose how your horses have been handled with regards to retirement. They are tireless and have numerous resources, so they will be going back many years and examining your outfit so that horses have not fallen through the cracks for inhumane purposes. Prepare to have all of your actions placed under a microscope and investigated. But then again Iâm sure you have absolutely nothing to hide.

A felony conviction does not disable someone from being licensed in PA? A convicted felon canât possess a firearm or vote, but being responsible for the well being of animals in a facility with paramutual wagering is OK, I guess. Wouldnât you think a track, in order to protect itâs own rep and well being, would forbid convicted felons from being licensed or within 100 feet of the backside. The answer is ânoâ, because tracks are inherently incapable of policing themselves.

Is it one of the horses from this thread? (There is a tattoo number given in the Missing Horse thread but I canât figure out what it really is, no letter given.)
If the horse is actually 6, the full tattoo would would start with H, which matches a horse named Contrary, a dark bay gelding last raced January 13, 2010 under this trainer.

Well she does have a post offering a $1000 reward in the missing horses forum but I donât know if she actually reads this. A better question is how long before this thread gets locked too and Judgement gets a mini vacation?[/QUOTE].
That reminds meâŠlindsay lohan outta try posting a $1000 reward somewhere to perhaps get back her lost or stolen passport.
I think youâre right, Caff. Not sure if it is the same horse that Horselover21 was giving away, though. CONTRARY was listed as a gelding back in '07, and she mentioned he has a large bow and would need some rest, but the horse CONTRARY raced on 1/13.
Although I donât agree with the public lynching of Stephanie Beattie without proof that she did anything wrong, I do hope she figures out (or comes clean, whatever) with what happened to the horse so Dick has some peace of mind.
I think this relates directly to something Iâve seen happen over and over at the track, from good people and people with âreputationsâ alike - this tendency to âgive awayâ horses with no paper trail or bill of sale. So when something inevitably happens, all they can say is âwell I gave the horse to some ladyâŠâ
In some cases Iâm absolutely sure thatâs done on purpose (say, if youâre âgivingâ a horse to a known kill dealer), but in others, itâs an honest oversight that really comes back to haunt people. People, if you give away a horse, write that bill of sale for $1 and keep it in an easy to find place.

This. And keep in touch with the person to whom you rehome the horse. Itâs not that difficult to make a phonecall once every six months, is it?
This is very good detective work by the posters. The name of the horse in question is contrary. However he was never owned by Dick. The owner that he first ran for at Penn National was Michael Laurato.
This being said I want to make one point clear. This is not a quick judgement nor a lynching of Stephanie Beattie. What you are reading is a frustrated attempt to exploit her lies and misleading stories while educating the posters on the wild goose chase that contrayâs last connections have sent Dick on.
Stephanie Beattie has been proven to be a fraud. Maybe that is just one of the reasons why we no longer see her train for Maggi Moss. Maggi spoke of her love for horses and dropped the hammer to Michael Gill during his rash of breakdowns. I am sure that she would be appauled at Stephanieâs lack of accountability and desperate fake stories.
Now I will pose this to the educated horsemen on this site. Is it possible when you are a âhorseloverâ and a pioneer of horse retirement projects, to simply not know where you sent a horse? To have simply no clue how the horse got from one point to the next in any part of the process? Give me a break. Stephanie, where is the horse?
Penn National Removes Anti-Slaughter from Physical Overnight
PNGI has removed the Anti-Slaughter policy from their overnight distributed at the track. It still remains on the overnight hosted online. So, PNGI, have you gone and hid in your cave or is it merely missing from the physical overnight?
âIt is a fairness thing,â Beattie says. âThese horses are out there for our enjoyment and livelihood, and they deserve a good retirement. Management, owners, trainers, jockeys all make a living off these horses and everyone should be concerned about what happens to these horses after theyâre finished racing.â
- Stephanie Beattie (April 2010)
Too bad the 6 year old bay horse who made $19,000 for Beattie while only being owned for 130 days in 2009-2010 was not followed when he was done running. Made a nice profit and wasnât given a suitable retirement. Itâs a shame.
For the record, neither Stephanie Beattie, Rob Marella, Christopher McErlean have called me to discuss this matter because they donât care.
Furthermore, I have increased Beattieâs reward to $3,000 for the missing horse. $1,000 is laughable for the amount of money the horse made Beattie in a short period of time.
I would also like to add a 1000.00 cash reward for concrete information that the horse is safe. I could offer a million dollars and it would not matter. Stephanie knows this rob marella knows this and even Todd mostetler and his grossly overpaid salary knows it. Stephanie beattie is a fraud in the purest form of the word
Iâll offer 1000.00 as well for the information on the safety of the horse
Iâll do you one better. I will offer my 5000 to her 500 that I can name five more of her mysteriously missing horses before she finds this horse. I have to admit I will be cheating. I will have help from PETA and the bet will be over by the end of next week. Stephanie, you are embarrassing yourself . Was this another Donny Brown moron PR move?
