Business As Usual
I will make a $25 donation each (up to $1,000) to various retirement facilities for pictures of slaughtered horse’s lip tattoos who last raced at Penn National Racecourse. No questions asked and you will not be identified, I just need the pictures of the horses with lip tattoos. If you find a tattoo to be bleached or altered in any way please PM me.

Also, any direct to kill pens who will sell me a horse with a tattoo that came from a Penn National trainer, please PM me. I have an offer you can not refuse.
It’s a good thing that you put that “up to $1000” clause in there…I’d hate to see you end up broke and in the poor house.

Great idea, Dick, and I mean that sincerely.

Do you think there are people in a position to respond who frequent this forum?

Absolutely.

How will you confirm they were slaughtered and not sent to that unknown 4-H barn? Since “I don’t remember who I gave him to” is the catch phrase of the day, won’t it be near impossble to confirm slaughter?

Or do you mean horses that were bought directly out of the kill pen and now have a new home?

If a picture or video is taken from a Canadian Slaughterhouse I would think that would be proof enough.

I’m looking for both. Horses who are taken to one of the many nearby kill pens by Charlie DeHart among others and horses who are at slaughter.

HCPN GM Frank Quigley Making Rounds on Backside

GM Frank Quigley has been making rounds on the backside of his racetrack and showing up for races talking to horseman about their concerns. He has even taken the time to listen to horseman in the kitchen and the meetings have tense at times. I give Quigley credit for doing something that Rob Marella and Christopher McErlean have failed to do during their unproductive careers at Penn. Quigley deserves credit for walking onto a backside and talking to angry horseman. It’s a start in the right direction.

Honoring a beloved trainer!

Did you see they named the 2nd race on June 5th at Penn National in honor of Stephanie Beattie?

Yes. Maybe after the ceremony they’ll ask her where all her ex-racehorses have been rehomed.

Maybe there will be a group of angry fans and concerned horse lovers out there hollering that very question. Hopefully they’ll bring along some media types with them to record the grand event. See how well the ceremony goes then for the deserving honoree.

video? picture? at the slaughter house in Canada? Do you think you can walk in there with a camera and just take pictures? Have you seen some of the videos shot by Animal Angels and/or similar groups? They had to go undercover… no way you can just go and look up a tattoo. Your only chance is finding them in the kill pen in NH or other dumping ground.
