Someone should compile a long list of Beattieâs horses who havenât run in a while and take it to the HBPA Meeting on July 13 and quite simply ask her where the horses have been placed. [/QUOTE]
I understand itâs already been done. As to the meeting, it is my hope that as many COTHers as possible show up there. Especially all the anti-slaughter crusaders. Letâs have an overwhelming turnout there folks. Would be nice to see some humane groups there as well.
An interesting quote from the Mid-Atlantic Thoroughbred from a Murray Rojas owner named Jeff Greener. He says âMurray is simply the best, period. She loves the horses she trains and she takes every precaution to make sure they are safe, happy and healthy - and above all she is honest to a fault. If I were reincarnated, I would want to be a horse in Murray Rojasâs barn.â
As for this a ship is only as good as itâs crew. Murray has the best barn boss/assistant in that place. Her successes are largely attributable to her excellent help. The guy is entirely too good for that place.
I wonder if DB Jr. would make that same comment about SB. Or would it be something like âI would love to be a horse in SBâs barn right up until the point Iâm loaded on a one-way trip to have a .22 caliber bullet sent through my brain which may occur as quickly as 2 days after I just won a race for them.â
LMAO!!!
It was as always a pleasure to see the esteemed gentlemen Dick Hertz at the track this morning.
As he is out there lurking he knows full well anything he wishes to say he can contact me or a number of other people that will be more than happy to relay it here.
One thing we discussed that Iâd like to bring up is that there are a whole lot of folks out there lurking who are afraid to say anything for fear of repercussions by the people running that track. Itâs time for that to end. Anybody following this thread who has information to share letâs hear it. Be part of the solution not part of the problem! Letâs not let Dickâs good work be wasted.
Again, letâs have a good turnout at the HBPA meeting. If Stephanie cannott account for the growing list of forgotten about horses or identify her ânice 4H ladyâ itâs time her resignation be demanded.
