I was wondering if anyone has used either of these products and have success with them as an alternative to a long term Bute regimen? Particularly with a horse that has Navicular.
Also for those of you following my horse's navicular journey, since we pulled his shoes 2 weeks ago I lounged him last night and he was the soundest he has been in over a year. I would say he is at about 85% sound! Sound enough that with a gram of bute I think he would be 100%! Wahoo!Have you tried Osphos and then maybe a daily Equioxx pill?
Ive used Perfequin on a heel sore horse, and I think it works. Ingredients the likes of tumeric, botswellia and other “natural” antiinflammatories. So it works like an NSAID, but I believe is milder and easier on the stomach.
