Yes to the ears! I love big ol’ mare ears. My breed of choice is Morgans, and they’re supposed to have “little tippy ears” but both of my mares have big ol’ mare ears, and I think I prefer that.

Big ears are my absolute favorite 
ours have smaller ears, really appears to not affect their hearing as they can detect the unwarping of a peppermint at 1,000 feet
