This mare looks fun… Tattoo P20113

Love her!!!
This mare is La Luna Rouge, if the tattoo is correct. She might be of interest to someone, other than myself!
I wouldn’t mind a nice mare I can ride in a halter.
She goes back to Blushing Groom…
Her page is gone! I hope she got a great home for Christmas, even better if it’s someone on COTH.
I contacted the breeder in Ocala. La Luna Rouge is going home!!! Thank you so much for posting her and not letting her slip thru a horrible crack! This makes my Christmas amazing and La Luna’s!
This is the best news ever!
She is such a lovely mare, her breeder is going to really enjoy having her home, I just know it.
Thank you so much for sharing, you really made this holiday all the brighter.
I am fairly certain that Luna’s people also purchased the little chestnut filly that was at the top of the page. I hope to visit with them when they arrive in Ocala.
thank you for being a lifeline
Oh YEA! Pictures please!
Really nice Morgan Stallion alert!
He’s an older fellow but absolutely lovely.
ETA There is quite the variety right now, if anyone has an empty stall.
What is it they say? New Year, New Horse?
Sounds right.
His page is gone. I hope for good reason. I didn’t see the ship date.
For the Morgan, his ship date was 1/31. I let a friend of mine know with contacts in the Morgan breed and she was sending the ad to Forever Morgans, a rescue based in TX. I hope they got him.
I saw the Morgan stallion posted on a bunch of Morgan FB pages and at least one of them noted that he had a contact in the “Full Circle” program, which our breed registry offers as a free option for anyone to add their name and contact info to any horse who is listed in the Registry. It’s intended to be a place to check to see if there’s an interested person who could be contacted to intervene before a horse finds itself in trouble. I believe someone was getting in touch with the listed contact-would be great if that resulted in a good outcome.
I’ve tagged all the foals and grand foals of mares I’ve owned in the Full Circle database. I’ve never been contacted about any of them, but would intervene in a heartbeat for any of them.
He was off the Bowie website pretty quick, I hope he landed a fantastic home.
What a lovely horse someone got, no matter his age.
Not Bowie, but if anyone likes to play with fire like me and buy straight from the auction, this poor young TB boy is going through Elkhart auction this evening. Horses who go through these smaller local auctions with traders often end up shuffled to Bowie in the end anyway, so just think of it as saving a couple steps . He’s got a forelock full of brambles and a fair number of visible ribs. If I wasn’t absolutely maxed out on horses, I’d have my trigger finger on the bid button tonight.

There are many options for layover/quarantine boarding around here, too… I’m only an hour away.
looks like a lot of body there. Legs look decent and he has the usual underfed under conditioned pitiful neck
I loff him
Trust me, if I didn’t think it would result in divorce I would already be formulating a plan he’s just a baby!
FYI for anyone considering, you can register and bid during the live (video feed) auction, pre-bidding is not necessary. The $400 min is just for the pre-bidding before the live auction. They also do a live walk through about now on their facebook page where they show most of the horses up close and read any info they might have on the paperwork (which is often more than gets posted online).
