I thought that too.
I know, right? She’s the pretty pony Santa never brought me as a child.
Well as I was finalizing the last piece of the logistics, someone else swooped in and nabbed him. Hope it was someone here! At least he’s saved.
That is a pitfall of putting the find out there. That happened a lot in the past when people posted what do you think of this OTTB. The silent but deadly with a trailer already hooked up and cash on hand made the dash while somebody sifted through public opinion.
Well now that you have logistics sorted you’ll have to pick another
And it just so happens she’s come to the right place!
Oh goody are we shopping?? I am here to help
Page not found for the pony.
Hoping that means someone nabbed her!
ETA: She’s heading to Emerald Glenn in WI!
I was hoping a AMHA or AMHR person would step up and they did!
Sorry to hear that AAHG, hopefully he’s gone to a good home. But there will be others…
Who can I enable to buy a sweet grey mare:
She looks relatively intelligent and people oriented.
She’s one of 3 “Andalusian” mares on there.
These are the ones that tug at my heart: The older mares who’ve had foals, been “used for breeding” and then they get kicked to the curb. Her feet look like they haven’t been properly cared for in ages. Yet her teats are large and long so she’s obviously been producing babies.
She has the most beautiful eyes.
Of all the ones that have been posted on here recently, this is the one that gets to me the most.
I was seriously making arrangements in my head how I could make it work and how I could avoid my husband freaking out There was just something about her. Grays aren’t my thing, but I was willing to make an exception for one that needed a soft landing. There was also something about the way she looked and interacted with the handler that I liked. Someone bought her, and I hope she’s going to a nice home.
I’m glad to hear she got a new home. I hope she’s treated well, too.
In the event that you wouldn’t mind a redhead instead…
He’s a little more run down condition-wise, and looks a little less educated in the riding department, but still trying hard to be a good boy.
I actually like this red one better than the bay. He reminds me of my Winter Man, a 16h chestnut TB I rode in many of my adult medals. I wonder where he came from and why he has decent front shoes but is so incredibly thin. So they can afford a farrier but not food?
I hope someone gets him.
TBs can lose weight very quickly and it sounded like he had a number of “dings” possibly from more dominant horses blocking him from hay and water so I could see how he could lose condition quickly. I remember Nosey looked less thin once she had rehydrated herself.
I think he’s really cute and certainly deserves a good home.
Seemingly fun to ride mare here, if anyone is looking for a little color…
