You need another baby. :joy::upside_down_face::joy:

Oh yes you do!

I cannot possibly bring home another project horse without getting myself divorced, so I’m gonna need you to do this. That bay screams hunter all day.

For Nosey, who needs a playmate so she’ll leave the aunties alone.

Let me know if you need me to pick them up during the week :joy:

Hush now. I have talked myself back from the ledge more than once already.

But think how cool that dark bay guy would be, with all that bone and that big step, hacking through the open fields. He’ll be the yin to Nosey’s yang.

The two cheaper DH geldings could be worthwhile projects for someone. For that price, I might be inclined to give it a try if I had the resources.

By resources I mean the mental resiliency to start another young horse and to ride big movement :joy: I have a 4 year old that’s grown too big, so I want something smaller, comfortable, and functional if I were to get another.

DH aren’t always the easiest (can be on the hotter side) but that can vary, and if you are or have a good competent trainer, then it’s less of a worry.

Okay …does anybody need these guys but not right right now?

There seems to be a pasture and a person that MIGHT be able to use them as lawn mowers briefly.

Maybe someone needs that kind of time to talk their husband into it or make boarding arrangements or travel plans.

Maybe the person with all the grass could, I don’t know…care/work with them for a small fee?

And just super maybe Mr. Person with grass would be less unappreciative of the situation knowing the lawn mowers were absolutely temporary.

I am not naming names here, though I do have one person in particular in mind, lots of you have grass.

The bay DHH is a steal. Shipping would be murder to WV or I would have pulled the trigger. He seems like a good egg with great bone.

If I were a decade younger I would buy the bay DHH. He looks very Dutchy to me and I like his derpy face and that big stretchy trot.

I’m just here to support fellow horse lovers :joy: if it means keeping a horse from slaughter, massive win! If I didn’t have my OTTB that requires the feed of three, I would be open :joy: now your husband must want another horse deep down!

Oh, come now. I have 5 horses (one is permanently leased out)… if anyone needs another, it’s you! :joy: I’m pretty sure my husband would be overjoyed if I sold all but one horse.

They are still available this morning. Is this the twilight zone?

No kidding, especially at that price. Is there something we’re all missing? Are we sure they have four functional legs and a heartbeat?

That’s what I was wondering. That bay DHH is lovely.

Bluebonnet Equine Rescue is looking for additional horses for their challenge….maybe these two would work….

This poor old guy!

It sounds bad, but there are legitimately times when I want to buy a horse just to give it a handful of treats and a humane euth.

It does not sound bad. It sounds amazing.
Someone to love them and help them not hurt anymore.
What a wonderful gift.

I just sent this thought to my son and his family. They just put a dog down today and they need to hear kind words. TY

Just realized that I originally typed, “human euth”
