I was reading a blog post by Fraidy Cat Eventing about purchasing tall boots in Europe. Has anyone else done this? Favorite brands or shops? I’m looking for something not plain black for mostly lessons and schooling. Cheap is nice.
To ship or on vacation? Are you trying to get a deal on an international brand or looking for a local or regional budget brand only available in Europe or Britain?
There are lots of online sites based in Britain and Europe selling international brand riding gear, and depending on currency exchange and clearance sales, there can be big savings over North American prices.
If you are going on vacation, I’d just browse the tack stores near your destination.
Of course if you are ordering online you need to be really sure of your foot and calf size in that brand.
I buy my Petries from Dutchridingboots.eu (Van Huet) I’ve also bought Konigs from Calevo.
Ordering online for either a great deal or something not readily available in the US. Such as brown.
I bought my brown Deniros from a UK store online. Approx $850 for semi customs (custom calf and height). I highly recommend Deniro. Mine are almost 3 yrs old and other then replacing the zippers once ($80) they are still in like new condition and I expect them to last for many years to come!
Just found this site- the prices are amazing on their sale boots. Limited stock but if they fit it’s a great deal.

Ooteman or Divoza has lots of boots to choose from as well. Got my Petrie Padovas and brown Petrie Veronas from Ooteman
Still shopping! I’m a UK 5 or a Euro 38 and a slim fit and not a brown boot to be found for under $200. I fell madly in love with the Kensingtin and Buckingham by Just Toggs but I can’t find a retailer that carries either in my size. Sad.
