C. Hester's Nip Tuck: double bridle?

I’m still using it too. And like yaya, I’m still happy with it. Granted, I haven’t been riding near as much as planned because of rain (and more rain, ugh).

I considered trying a Micklem, but I wasn’t sure I really needed a flash because I always had it buckled loosely. Its now become evident that the flash wasn’t needed.

Yaya, I’m jealous that you got to go to the Charlie Hutton clinic. I really wanted to go but I couldn’t swing it. Maybe next time!

It looks like the TOTA COMFORT Noseband maybe?

I didn’t read to the end - but YES it is the Tota Noseband.

Tried one. Not sure how horse liked it. It seemed to deaden her mouth. Also the side pieces seem to press on her molars. But it may just be my weird horse. Would love to try it again and use it for a week or two to make a final judgment. Not going to spend $350 for something I’m not sure my horse will be happy with.

Just reading this older thread. I recently tried both. The Tota overwhelmed my horse’s face and I think she was not happy with the cheek piece and the crank even though it wasn’t tight. Horse loved the Micklem. Second time loved it even more so I am ordering it in the bridle leather. Still cheaper than the Tota noseband. My horse likes it so well that I doubt I will even go to a double later on in the training. I don’t have the time and money or horse to be competitive in the international FEI classes and I can show USEF FEI in a snaffle so it’s a win-win.
