Caligula II

I recently acquired Holsteiner Verband approved stallion Caligula II (Carthago x Landego x Roman). He is older, has not been used much and information on him is very limited. I purchased him primarily to breed my Lotus T mares, based on his pedigree, size (he is 16.1) and type. However, I would love to know a little bit more about him - so if anyone bred to him in the past, trained or ridden his offspring, your comments are welcome. Also, I would love to hear from our “resident” Holsteiner breeding experts about opinions on pedigree and possible matches with certain mares.

Do you mean Caligula II by Cambridge? Cambridge is considered the best stallion offspring from Caletto I. Another famous son of Cambridge is Catoki.

My bad

By Cambridge :). It was apparently too late last night when I posted!

Not sure if you’ll see this, but I just learned I have a Caligula II baby (by Championesse). He was originally bred for dressage, but we do H/J! I’d love any more intel on Caligula that you have!

@szipi Is really the person you should get in contact with because has owned him for a few years now @HARROLDhasmyheart below is his name and farm. He is easily found on FB if not regularly on COTH
