Calling all petite as in 5'2 and under, riders!

I am 5’0 tall and have a short calf. Overall I’m just small lol! Obviously finding tall boots that fit properly is a bit challenging; so I ask, could I fit in child sized tall boots?

I’m 5ft1 and have not been able to fit into child sized boots… I have a size 6 foot! I find my calfs are also too wide LOL My last boots were off the shelf Ego 7s, they come in lots of heights and I also put in those heel lifts that you peel down as the boots drop  they also fit nice and snug through the ankle. My trainer, who is also 5ft2 wears them as do a couple of other shorter riders in my barn

5’1, 8.5 foot and a skinny calf. Had to go full Custom with Vogel. I wear Ariat Close Contact half chap in XS regular.

I’m 5’2" and I wear kids breeches (size 16) and kids half chaps (L/xl), but I didn’t think kids boots came in my size 7.5 foot. But if did I’d try it.

My last two tall boots for schooling were Tuffrider and Dublin, where the regular was just small enough for me. I also just got Ariat Heritage in the short height, haven’t had a chance to try them out yet but I think they’ll fit.

I’m 5’1 and apparently have a stock leg because I have no problem off the shelf. Currently I have a pair of Tredstep Donatello’s in a size 6 extra slim, Cognac Ariat Square toed boots in a 6 slim, and a pair of Alex’s Boots in a 6 (whatever the euro equivalent) extra slim.

Street shoes I wear a 5-6, tall boots I am always a 6, and my calf is around 13.5". Perhaps I am proportionally long from ankle to knee, which is why things fit off the shelf?

IMO Konigs and Dehners run small. Both of mine were labeled to fit as a size 5 but fit like a size 6.

I’m 5’ with a 5.5 foot. I fit just fine in Ariats. I have the 5.5 slim calf and I think regular height heritage boots. Growing up in wore a pair of Effinghams. ( in the pre zipper days)

I am 5’ with a size 5 foot. Kids’ boots do not fit me. I can wear an Ariat, size 5.5 with a short-slim calf.

I’m 5’ tall and I can wear kids boots because I have absolute chicken legs. That said I don’t wear them because there is more choice in adult boots.

I fit pretty well in a regular usually but my parlantis are xxtall. They run very short in the leg and drop a lot. Might be a good choice for someone with short calves.

I’m not short but Parlantis are basically semi-custom because they have so many calf and height options that your sure to find a pair that fit perfectly

I’m 5’1 and wear an Ariat 6 slim/short, but can also fit into the kid’s 5, I think the regular/tall height. I fit the occasional petite woman into a kid’s size, but you’ve really got to have a small shoe size. I sell a LOT of sizes 6 to 7.5 in short heights for petite riders.

I’m 5’1 and am unfortunately mostly torso, which means that I have absurdly short legs. I’m on my second pair of the Ariat Heritage Contour Field Boot. They come in short length–slim and regular. I wear a size 7, regular. They don’t wear quite as well as I’d like but I can wear them straight out of the box with minimal breaking-in time. Price-wise, they aren’t too bad if you shop around for a discount.

5’1", and I wear a size 6.5 Tredstep Donatello (regular width, regular height). The Tredstep boots seemed to have a few options, and I was surprised I ended up in regular height vs short.

I am 5’2", wear a 5 shoe, and do fine in 5.5 Ariats, short/regular calf. I do buy child’s paddock boots.

Have you considered the Mountain Horse Sovereigns? They come in a short and are very soft without being super thin like the Parlantis.

Tuffrider makes the Parlanti knock-offs in “Junior” size. They’re shorter and come in larger foot sizes.

5’0, 5’1 in paddock boots, here, and I’m way to curvy (eg fat-calved) for kids boots. I have full customs and also a pair of the semi-custom Sergio Grassos, and both fit perfectly. The SGs aren’t super expensive (~800? and fabulous leather and fit) and have lots of options for size variations. Just get measured at a tack store don’t try to do it yourself. (ask me how I know)

Parlanti! I am way smaller than any of you, and the off the rack ones fit me perfectly. I don’t know if they’re kids or adult, I’ve always bought them from the booth. Taller people can never wear (off the rack) Parlanti bc they don’t come tall enough.
