I’m starting the project of fencing in the new pasture. It is 5 acres with a few slopes and hills. I will be using wood post for the corners and gates but thinking of T post for the main fence mainly because I don’t need a tractor or help to install those. I was looking at the cameo or finish line fencing. I was hoping to get some advice on installing this type of fence on T post and what the best way of doing the corners would be. Should the lines be run round the corn post and continue on or should they stop at the corners and then start new lines? What are the best insulators to hold this type of fence to the T post? Would this fence also be safe for cross fencing and smaller paddocks? Any issues i should know about? Tips or tricks to installing? Anyone have pictures of this fencing on their property?
I used it one on line of my pasture and planned on replacing more with it. It’s easy to install and works great. If you talk to them they are very helpful on installation. You’ll need well braced corner poles (we did 6x6 in cement with H-braces). Typically you will end the line at the corner and start a new one. They sell insulators that work well with the fence on t posts. We used mostly T posts with a few wood posts along the way (mostly because a large section was swamp and I wanted some substantial posts in the line on either side of the swamp. We ran 600 feet on the North boundary.
