CAMPING PORTAPOT

Hello,

I am doing the camping & riding thing with my horse & I love it.

EXCEPT the PORTAPOT. I have a luggable loo & it just does not DOO for a long weekend of NUMBER TWO. :no:

I have followed the instructions for adding the bio blue. Tried double duty bags.

I think I need a portable flusher with a bag lined compartment, but am hesitant to spend over $100 on a non returnable product that may not work.

Anyone out there found a solution to my problem?

I used a potty that you add the blue stuff to and then have to dump in a real potty and have always hated that chore. I recently bought a luggable loo and much prefer it. I use white kitchen trash bags and put some kitty litter in it. Then add litter as needed. Then just throw out the trash bag at the end. I recently went on a 7 day trip and changed it twice during the trip - no smell, no gagging, etc

I bought a new LQ trailer with a toilet, but unless there’s a dump station or full hook-ups, I paln on using the luggable loo.

Luggable Loo is the bucket with a seat, correct?

I use pellet bedding in mine. Toss in some pellet and add more as necessary. They work amazing to absorb the liquid and be used to cover any solids.

No experience with a portable flusher.

I bought the Thetford Curve and love it.

I think throwing away human waste in the regular garbage is pretty gross.

I do the 5-gallon bucket with Equine Pine in it. I split a pool noodle and wrapped it around the lid for a cushy seat.
