I would appreciate it if someone is able to tell me specifically what model this OrthoFlex saddle is. I tried to talk to the new Ortho-Flex saddle makers, but they have no interest in helping if you are not buying a saddle from them… The #'s are model AP-175 Serial #S0-2206 Thank you for looking! Trying to post pics but don’t see how on the tool bar…?
I think it is the English All Purpose saddle.
The AP likely means All Purpose from my google search.
That would be a reasonable assumption, however the fenders are a little longer, more like a dressage style with the knees rolls toward the front. Also, the leathers (2" Biothane) come thru a slot on the upper part of fenders like the Aussie saddles. It has endurance stirrups on it as well as the rear crouper d & misc. saddlebag hardware. I was wandering if Ortho-Flex had an English Endurance type not just the Western Endurance hornless style… I just have not seen any others quite like it. Wish I could post a pic, but cannot figure out how… : /
Yes, OrthoFlex had an english endurance saddle. Google (images) OrthoFlex endurance cutback and see if you find a match.
Thank you very much! Though not an exact match, it looks to most closely resemble the Pioneer Trail model. : )
You could write Len Brown and see if he recognizes it. He is usually happy to help people with them. And he can be pretty handy with helping you fit the saddle to your horse.

I’d just email Mr. Len, like Trailpal suggested. He is the nicest guy! He replies to his emails quickly and in detail.
Agree about Len…was this made by him when he founded the company? Or by to whom he sold the company. The product is just not the same.
I owned 5 of Len’s (original endurance, then a/p, then dressage that he made custom for me). One of his earliest customers back in the mid 80’s.
Great guy. I’m sure he’d be happy to help you.
From what you are describing it sounds a lot like the OrthoFlex Patriot.
