I need meds for my dog and don’t trust on line pharmacies. Can any one recommend a real store that will ship to the USA?
Thank Y’all so very much!!!

You’re looking for a real Canadian pharmacy that will ship to the US? I thought they all stopped doing that…hence the sad, sad loss easily obtained voltaren gel from Canada
I’ve had the best luck from Walgreens or Costco for my pet meds.
It’s ironic reading this as I travelled to the US to get meds at a US pharmacy to get them cheaper.
I don’t know of any Canadian bricks and mortar pharmacies that will ship to the USA. I don’t know any that ship, period to be honest.

this can help you shop locally and wisely[/QUOTE]
hoopoe, That is the site I have been looking at to try to find the meds my dog needs. I got the first batch at CVS using their coupon, (CVS charged $10.00 extra).
But this site- www.pharmacychecker.com has really good prices…But this site lists all the stores on pharmacychecker as ‘not recommended’.
www.nabp.net/programs/consumer-protection/buying-medicine-online
A link to recommended and not recommended sites is on the far left under consumer protection.
I am sooooo confused.
Why does it have to be in Canada? Can your vet not get the meds for you? I’ve never had anything they couldn’t give me directly in the office except one prescription that needed compounding. Depending on what it is you may even be able to get it from your local human pharmacy.
I don’t know any in Canada but going by your location, if you will PM me I may be able to help you find a good US one not too far from you.
The med I am looking for is Sporanox by Janssen (or it’s generic itraconazole, but only if it’s from Patriot Pharmaceuticals).
My dog does not have health insurance so I must pay the ‘out of pocket’ price of $722.00 for 1 month of the name brand pills. He needs to be on meds 4-6 months.
Vet strongly recommends not using a compounded substitute as that has proven less effective.
With the coupon at goodrx I can get the approved generic at CVS for $299.00/ 30 day supply. That is still more than I can afford long term.
This is my dog that has gastrointestinal Pythiosis insidiosum. He will most likely relapse and die without this specific medication
Take a look at these prices from Canada…www.pharmacychecker.com/generic/price-comparison/itraconazole/100+mg/
This is why I am trying to determine if this is real or a scam.
Any and all guidance greatly appreciated.

You might try contacting Johnson&Johnson directly to see if there are available programs for you.
Thank you Over the Hill, great idea!
I have the application filled out and am waiting for vet to fill out their part.
I have no idea of the logistics of shipping to the US. But, you could try these two.
Kripps pharmacy, which I recently had to use for a compounded med. that nobody else does. My doc faxed the prescription, then I had to call them, then they sent my meds in the mail (Canadian address).
Cloverdale Pharmacy, which regularly wins our Horse Council provincial award for being awesome at suppling horse stuff. Worth a try.

Walgreens is $247.99 for 30 x 100 mg of this med per their website, without any discounts or cards. What’s the coupon at goodrx look like, and does that bring the price down anymore?
Walkers, Thanks, I will look into canadadrugs.com
Simkie, 60 x 100 mg is needed for one month, so Walgreen’s is 2 x $247.99/ month.
CVS is 1 x $299.00/month. But thank you for checking the prices for me.
Blugal, Thanks for the links to Kripps and Cloverdale. I’ll see what they say.
Is this still an ongoing thread? I found this while searching and I want to add that I get my pet stuff and my husband’s meds from canadacloudpharmacy.com - they save me a bunch on puffers and the odd Sporanox for my animals
