Can anyone suggest a good retirement facility in Bay Area, CA

Hello,
I have decided to explore retirement facilities for my older guy in 2024. My budget is around $1100/month. I am looking for a stall at night, solo day turnout/ blanketing /medication/full care services. Safe facility does not have to be pretty but no squirrel or gopher holes. I have an older TB but still very accident prone and I am paranoid. Will probably keep at my current place but wanted to reach out to the forum if anyone had any suggestions that may work. I am located in East Bay.

Thanks !

I highly recommend Williams Ranch, just up the hill from Woodside. https://williamsranchboarding.com/ They might have a waiting list but I’d get on it. A client has a few horses there and I’ve spent quite a bit of time there rehabbing some horses. Excellent care, beautiful, quiet facility. They have 24/7 turnout and also stall with turnout during the day or night.

That is affordable!

Lol ya it’s pretty great. IDK how it’s so cheap. They had a waiting list for years but the last time I was there maybe a month ago they had 1 or 2 empty stalls.

I’ve got a place with a view of the Pacific for $900/month!

I have a friend who is very happy with Circle Oak Equine in Petaluma for her accident-prone guy. https://www.petalumaequine.com/retirement-new-opening
