Is it safe to take a thinline sheepskin half pad to the dry cleaners?
No. My husband is a dry cleaner; he said the sheepskin can’t be dry cleaned (just like leather can’t - a special leather cleaning process is used). The pad is dirty due to water & protein based substances - mainly sweat. It will only get truly clean with soap and water. In addition, horse items aren’t appropriate to clean in a machine with clothing. The ThinLine company recommends Eucalan sheepskin wash.
