I have some Bob’s Red Mill dry vegi soup mix - can I throw it out to the birds? What about uncooked noodles?
Wild birds? They may not eat it… You might try mixing it with peanut butter and/or Crisco and making a suet-type patty. Chickens? They will devour every little bit. I am not sure I would worry too much about the noodles, as they will get crushed to oblivion in the chicken’s crop/gizzard and won’t be passing thru the digestive system as whole pasta.
Yes, I meant wild birds. Cleaning out the cupboard! I’m feeding a mixed birdseed and BOSS too.
Just put it out on the lawn…various creatures may eat it and if not, it will return to the soil…recycling, if you will. (The salt in the mix isn’t particularly good for birds, but small mammals will not mind it)
