Can I get some kitten name suggestions? Cute pics!

I need suggestions for a name for our new kitten.

She’s a female.

Her breed is Ragdoll.

Her litter name is Little Debbie, named after the breeder’s son’s girlfriend, who is short, which doesn’t seem fiting.

Her breeder is Celtic Moon Rags.

Her parents names are LionsRoyale Lonestar of Toskharags and Happy Day Von Anhalt. We don’t care anything about her bloodlines. She will be fixed. I just thought those names might spark an idea.

We like simple names that fit easily into rhymes. Yes, we often sing to our pets. Recent family pets have been Jack, Minky, Jessie, Katie, and Casey.

Any suggestions?

Matilda, or Tilly for short.

She’s a cutie.

Stella? then you can go outside and yell… STEEELLAAA!

Those blue eyes!

Bonnie Blue
Blue Moon
Luna blue /bleu

Penelope.

Penelope.[/QUOTE]

That was the name that popped immediately into my head when I looked at her picture…

OP, she is absolutely gorgeous! Such a strikingly feminine look about her. She definitely needs a feminine name!

Two others that come to mind:

Chloe
Lily

I LOVE Ragdolls (have a seal point male). The rest of our kitty family are rescues or formerly feral strays that we’ve taken in and have become really sweet house cats.

Many wishes for a long, healthy, and happy life for your new baby.

I love penelope or chloe, or zoe(y) or Isabel or Bella, or mor stately, Regina.
Cleopatra is probaby a bit handle but Cleo shortens nicely!
or Malaika(swahili for angel and there is a lovely song “Malaika”). My little one was originally called that but it turned out it didn’t quite fit and she was always “the little one”!

We always wanted to do themes: Lunesta, Ambien, Zyprexa, Luvenox, or Bushnell, Leupold, Zeiss

or Remmington, Ruger, Winchester!!

Or…Fiona!
(great song about her too!)

or Siobhan (Chevon)!

You guys are awesome! Thank you! She gets fixed Tuesday, then comes home with us on Friday. I’ll post back and tell you what we name her. It’s interesting that there are duplicates in the suggestions.

When I looked at her picture I thought Lemon Meringue pie… not sure how much of a name Meringue is  funny that her litter name is a dessert, she looks like she should have a name related to something sweet and fluffy!

Seems like you tend towards human names for pets, in which case I think Penelope is adorable for her. Likewise Eloise, Gemma,…

She’s very pretty. I usually like to observe the unnamed critter for awhile. Sometimes the critter names him/herself. That is why one of my cats is named Stinkerbelle. Stinkerbelle’s mother is Essie (Esmerelda for her lovely green eyes). Essie’s other daughter was a grey tabby named Mukluk on account of her jet black feet (which reminded me of dirty mukluks). Have fun with your new kitty!!!

Raggedy Anne

Gorgeous! Congrats!

Iris for the color of her eyes (iris blue)

Well, I think it is a little odd, but the name that popped into my head looking at her absolutely beautiful pictures was:

Marilyn, for Marilyn Monroe.

What a beautiful cat!

and I started humming oh my darling clementine when I saw her.

she is a beauty—and such a fantastic breed, one of my very most favorites.

Bits619, you’re not going to believe this, but my son likes your suggestion of Lemon Meringue, probably, more likely Lemony, as in Lemony Snicket.

Larksmom, I thought Raggedy Ann (Annie) was brilliant for a Ragdoll. Thank you.

And, BasqueMom, I also like Iris for her pretty eyes.

My son also likes Bianca.

Thank you for the helpful suggestions.

Roxanne, or Roxie for short. Then you can sing "her"song to her
