Can someone help me find my thread?

I’m looking for my thread from a couple of months ago. Apparently searching for it doesn’t work, it doesn’t show up in my history, and it disappeared from my “following.” I’m trying google searches, but I’m not getting anywhere. It was asking for help with my decision to put my retired mare down because the barn was being sold and she wasn’t safe to travel.

Now I need to make another post on the same topic and I really wanted to link to the old thread.

Can anyone help?

Found it. That was actually quite difficult.

Any idea when that’ll get fixed?

No idea about the fixing but I have another suggestion/approach, for the future. Click on your user name at the top, where it says “Welcome, JoZ” (in my case anyway!) On the left side of the page that comes up, under the spot for the profile picture, click on “find latest started threads”. If you start a lot of them, you might have to spend a bit of time, but I have 10 pages of started threads, going back five years, and I still find it easier to look in a finite universe of my own stuff.

Yeahbut…there’s a huge gap in search results. The search database went all FUBAR’d and they’re fixing it. No, I don’t think there’s an ETA. Yeah, I think the easiest way to find those is with google, or by just scanning the forum you posted in for the little green checkmark off to the side that shows you’ve posted on that thread…

This doesn’t work on disappeared threads.
