The TC thread has gotten very long and wandered a bit. How about a new approach to this years story? Discussion of other contenders and connections welcome. The girls too.
TTL is providing a good story as are his people and the Travers win really got my attention. Interesting possibility to lessen the sting of a TC with an asterisk. Long way to go, much can go wrong But he doesn’t strike me as a hothouse flower. We’ll see.
He’s a really neat horse. And I’m down with getting rid of anything on Coth That says Palm Beach. LOL
I love Tiz The Law and his people (trainer, owner, and jockey). Tiz The Law seems like such a professional. Always goes out and does his job.
I wonder if Gamine will run against the boys at same point. Maybe in the Preakness?
So sad for the Sackatoga bunch that the KD went to no fans. Pretty sure theres a limit to how many ownership partners can attend. They are fun.
Just my opinion:
No such thing as a Triple Crown for 2020.
Its not the only year that has not followed the format, dates and locations or even the same rules and regulations. Shame about no mile and a half but the challenges this year have created their own challenge. IMO.
It’s not a “traditional” Triple Crown year. However, if Tiz The Law, having won the Belmont Stakes and Travers, wins the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and a Breeders Crown race (I know this is too much to hope for or expect), he will have done something REALLY memorable to make up for the difference.
