I love my Skito pad for the support it gives. I’ve been using it solely for my BF Treeless, but I do like switching saddles… i.e. Western, AP, Dressage.
Do any of you use these pads for different saddle types?
Thanks.

I just picked up a Skito english pad used and it fits nicely under my Syd Hill Aussie saddle. I took the shims out and put a little batting in to make it squishy. The shims were too thick but the slight amount of batting is perfect.
Skito makes a jillion different styles.
Call Tom at Skito and ask him this. He is so helpful!
The western Skito pad I’m currently borrowing from a friend (until my Skito pad for my Sensation treeless arrives) was made for a treed Western saddle.
Skito can make a pad to fit any saddle - treeless, western, endurance, dressage, english a/p. You can also get different thickness of the foam inserts.
Thanks - That was along the lines of my question.
I only have one skito that I purchased when I bought my Bob Marshall several years ago. Sold the saddle, but kept the skito.
I didn’t know if they were all the same, or do you need a different one for different saddle types.
I guess a call is in order…
I use an equipedic english/endurance for my Solstice.
I don’t do skito, but this is fairly similar.
I know Tom went to a lot of trouble to custom fit my pad for my saddle and my horse.
My saddle is an off brand (though he knew it) and my horse is a senior citizen (which was why he needed a special pad). Tom looked at photos, had me take measurements, sent me samples, accepted a return, tried again, etc. In the end, I think we got it right. I don’t know when I had better customer service.
P.S. If you have a “regular” saddle and a “regular” horse, you probably can swap the pad out just like any other pad, but if you need a custom fit, Skito will do it.
When I ordered 2 Skito’s (one custom for husbands horse) and one for mine. We talked about me using mine with my english saddle, western saddle and my Yancy. As long as it fits the horse & the saddle you can use it. I think he said the pad should be at least an inch larger all the way around.
We had to send photos in my my husbands goofy horse for a custom fit, and I had to have a short (withers to rear) one since my pony is short backed.
But by all means confirm with Tom.
