Canadians! How to watch the Olympics!

Good news Canucks! Just heard from CBC and they will be live streaming the equestrian events from start to finish via the CBC Olympic App  enjoy!

And how does one get that on a laptop?

On a laptop you can just use the website

Thanks!

Thanks SlamDunk! Just shows how completely untech savy I am (LOL). I was confused by the “app” term. Have to agree with Crockpot - I don’t find the Rio section of the CBC website very easy to navigate. It is rather unclear exactly what they are showing when and where - as in on TV or online.

Yeah CBC! Good for you guys and girls…well done. And very much appreciated!

Cautiously optimistic and Fingers crossed:)

I guess they learned from the PanAm games… but let’s wait and see!

In tears. I just saw A Little Romance go. Such a beautiful little mare, and I thought a very nice test.

Fred’s A Little Romance was the very first to go in Eventing Dressage! How exciting to watch her. (Score not posted yet). ETA: 51.9

ETA again: “Now ratified to 52.0”

I so feel with you. What a wonderful moment.

YAy- it is working . Eventing dressage streaming.

Just saw A little Romance- so nice for you, Fred.

Thrilling to be able to be watch on line-

So grateful because I remember the old days when you had to buy the video months later

Thanks for the link!
I had to load it twice to get it to run and … just in time for the first break
BUT it works on my less faithful old computer
Is the sound / commentary any good?
figuring out how to hook up speakers (yes the old fashion actual speakers) to my computer will be a challenge for the technologically challenged …

I think the commentary’s pretty good.

The video feed is very good. Sound quality excellent! No time delays like last Olympic coverage. There appears to be no buffering either:) Great that we can watch all the equestrian disciplines live time!
