From post #3 above (quote below).
Some posts get caught in the spam filter.
The glitch is that they (moderators) do not get a notification when something is sent there. Thankfully Mod 1 tries to keep on top of it.
The previous edition of the forum didn’t have this problem. If Moderators have to “approve” every post with a photo or a pedigree link…omg, I can’t imagine.
It is not every post with a photo or a link, it appears to be (from reading various threads) some what random.
The previous addition did not allow us to post photos at all.
Yes, the former edition was much more user friendly and if you paid to be a Premium member (I did) you could post photos,.
Another Unapproved error, first time I’ve encountered. Maybe the problem is that I linked to a vendor’s website (one that provides a service that might help the OP and I’m not related to that company at all).
The posts that are held for approval are done so via an automated system. I’m not sure what criteria it uses, but it’s nothing based on assumptions about your motivation for posting!
I just approved your post.
Thanks!
IMO, ‘user friendly’ is always subjective
Posting photos, yesterday I tried copying an image from a web page (i.e., right click, copy image) and then right click ‘post’ in a reply and voila, there was the image First time I’ve tried it so was rather impressed. (NB, the actual directions are for MacOS so Win might be slightly different).
Got my first un-approved on my post today. Ugh
