I tried to comment on “What You Need To Know: The 2016 Rio Olympic Games Equestrian”, but it keeps asking me for a Facebook login.
How do I comment if I am not on Facebook?

I don’t know what Janet was going to comment, but perhaps it was that we are currently on Eastern Daylight Time, not Standard. Thus, the times in the article (referenced in the above post) could be said to be wrong.
(I’m not on Facebook either.)
I am not sure if it has always been that way but it looks like the comment box is a FB Plugin, so you need a FB log in to participate. I don’t think you can comment without a FB account.
Well that sucks.
Someone was asking when the ride times would be available and I was trying to comment that the ride times are usually not set/available until after the first horse inspection.
I think the statement about time already takes into account DST. I just googled “What time is it in Rio de Janeiro” and got an time one hour later than my clock time here in Virginia.
Rio would be 2 hours ahead if we were not on DST.

Would you like me to leave a comment for you?

Yes please.
Done! I just said “the ride times are usually not set/available until after the first horse inspection.” - if there’s something else you want me to add let me know.

I agree - just meant that CoTH editors should correct EST to EDT.
