Can't get Safe Sport to load on USEF website

I clicked on English and the topics dropped down but when I click on Course Instructions nothing happens. I am sure there threads about this but nothing popped up.

same. i submitted an inquiry. they have a link to submit any technical issues on one of the first pages I had to click to get to the content.

I got an email earlier today saying that there might be issues.

Reminder: SafeSport Training

Dear PEGGY,

The U.S. Center for SafeSport has migrated all SafeSport Training accounts to a new platform that long-term will better serve our community. You will continue to access the training through your USEF member dashboard and all SafeSport training will be completed within the USEF website.

We appreciate your patience as we have worked through this transition, which continues to present unforeseen technical challenges beyond US Equestrian’s control.

As of February 1, 2022, competition managers will resume the refusal of competition entries on the basis of noncompliance with SafeSport Training for owners, riders, and trainers. Please begin your SafeSport Training in advance of the date it is due, leaving time to resolve any technical issues if necessary.

As a reminder, any USEF competing member aged 18 or older (based on actual birthdate) is required to take the SafeSport Training, including amateurs, professionals, juniors who are 18 and older, and owners who have an annual, three-year, or lifetime membership.

If you are experiencing any technical difficulties with the SafeSport Training or do not see the expected courses in your training dashboard, please let us know by submitting this form.

Instructions on how to access the SafeSport Training on usef.org can be found below:

  1. Click the SafeSport tile in your US Equestrian member dashboard. Click the “proceed to training” button
  2. If you see a green “You can now access SafeSport Training” under the blue bar with your member info, proceed to step 4
  3. If you see “Find/Create Your SafeSport Training Account” under the blue bar with your member info:

• Enter your email, birthday, and zip code to associate your US Equestrian member account to a SafeSport Training account


• Click “find match”
• Click “select” on the correct account matching your personal information
• If a match cannot be found and you have completed SafeSport Training in the past, try entering a different email and click “find match” again
• If a match cannot be found with any of your emails, click “create new account”
• If a match cannot be found and you have never completed SafeSport Training, click “create new account”
• Once the account has been associated successfully, you will see a green “success” bar, with the training activities below.
4. Complete the required SafeSport courses in your dashboard

• If you are experiencing any technical difficulties with the SafeSport Training, or do not see the expected courses in your training dashboard, please let us know by submitting this form.
5. After the SafeSport Training is complete, save your “SafeSport Trained” certificate to keep for verification purposes

I did it earlier today without problems.

But you don’t click on the apparent “menu” on the left. That just tracks which modules you have completed. It doesn’t take you anywhere. You have to check on “Welcome”, and let it ASK YOU which language you want.

I did that but all of the modules still had a padlock symbol to the right of each.

Safe Sport was very quick to reset my program and I got thru 3/4 of it but it has locked up again so I sent them a message.

Finally finished. SS had to reset my program twice but they were quick to respond.
