When I try to post a reply I get a “bulletin message” telling me I am denied access:sadsmile:; What’s going on?
Hey,
I just tried twice and got the same message. Then I tried again and got through to reply to you. Go figure. I will now try to post a reply to the original thread.
Thanks for the tip; it worked!
Is this still an issue? If so, in what forums are you (both) having trouble?
Thanks!

Hi Mod 1,
When I try to respond to “events” thread…but maybe they are not designed to have replies??? I just tried a few minutes ago to the “longe clinic” and got the same message as I did this morning.
Thanks
Carol
Thanks for the quick response! Yes, Events, Missing Horses and Classifieds are set up so that only the original poster on the thread can post a reply (and their OPs and replies all require moderator approval before they’re posted to the open forum). I just clarified that policy in the sticky in the Events forum–sorry for any confusion.
Also, for others who may be wondering, FAQs, Reference and Favorites are closed to additional posting (except by the mods).
Carol, please let us know if you were having a different issue so we can look into it if necessary.
Thanks!

hi there mod 1
I was trying to delete a hay posting that I had made some time ago…they are all pretty out of date (many from last year and some companies even out of business now) and cannot remove it…is this also a special section ? or have I done something wrong ?

Hi Tamara ~
Yes, that forum is set with most of the defaults of the regular forums, so users can’t delete their own threads. We’ll try to remember to clean up the old threads when we do the next pruning of threads on the rest of the site.
You should be able to delete individual posts in that forum though, as long as they don’t start a new thread.
Thanks for the reminder and for helping us to tidy up!
