I can’t see them either using IE which is up to date. Any suggestions?
I used to be able to view the thumbnails just fine. Now I can’t  Nothing has changed here and I’m bummed because my old eyes aren’t doing such a hot job seeing little pictures
Update: mine is now worse. I generally use IE to browse
Before if I clicked it would give me a pop-up box to save the file, then it started Photoshop to view it.
Now it gives me the download prompt box. I say save or view, and when Photoshop finally opens it’s a 1x1 empty image with the same filename?!
Doesn’t matter if I am overriding my google popup blocker or not.
I started up an old version of Mozilla to see if it helped. Here is something interesting: it worked fine!
Could this be a problem between the COTH server and IE maybe?
(not trying to complain… just trying to help )
Same here. I was able to view them a few weeks ago, but recently it hasn’t worked. I use XP and IE, no pop up blockers. Hmmmm?
It works fine for me (and has always worked fine, with the exception on a very fresh re-install of Windows XP/IE that was not yet patched and updated). The thumbnails open to the big image in a new browser window. I use IE and have 2 pop-up blockers (the one built into the browser, and the Google toolbar). There is Photoshop installed on the computer.
So I don’t know that it would be an IE compatibility issue… unless maybe everyone affected has older versions
Doesn’t work for me, either. I get a box asking me to run or save, but if I click run, it acts as though it’s downloading, but never opens up. Just sort of goes away. I have a very uptodate PC with Windows XP Professional and the latest IE
Couple weeks ago I could no longer get larger images either (had been working fine before). I had to send my computer to get fixed this past week because my antivirus apparently was no longer doing its job…I can now get the pictures to enlarge so I’m assuming it was a virus problem.
Try this. Not a clue if it will work. In IE, under Tools, select Internet Options. Go to te Advanced tab. Scroll through the line items until you get to the Multimedia category. Make sure all of the boxes under Multimedia are checked. Click OK. Close and reopen IE. Try the thumbnails again…
I don’t wanna read this whole thing, but I just posted some new pictures on 3 year old’s thread and they’re thumbnails. I had to make them smaller jpegs from a CD. When I right click and open in a new window the picture gets bigger.
Im glad to see Im not alone. Sometimes they will work and most of the time not. I turned off my blocker and still nothing (although now I can get my PM’s a lot easier). Im using IE also.
What works for me is I right-click, then click on “open link in new window.”
