I’ll start:
You know those 4 vertical wrinkles on a cat’s head, between its ears?
Rumor has it that those were made by Allah’s 4 fingers while he was petting the primordial cat. Pretty cool!
Facts. Groovey facts like that go in this thread.

Fact: My cats are fat and lazy. And my torties are from another planet, far, far away.
Cats have cat whammy -that magic that bends us to their will. For example, my cats got very fat because anytime their food bowls were empty I was compelled to fill them. It took a great deal of counter-whammy to treat them like…well my dogs and feed them twice a day.

Wrapping a long gym sock around a cats midsection causes instant full body paralysis.
Mobility returns immediately & violently upon removal of the sock, so I strongly suggest having someone you don’t like do that part.
House cats are more efficient predators than lions, tigers, jaguars, and all other felines.
Each cat’s nose pad has a unique pattern, like a human fingerprint. (Or so I’ve been told!)

Oh, really? I had one of these, all husky style.
Cats have much more efficient kidneys than humans and can drink seawater if need be.
I read somewhere years ago that all cats purr on the same frequency. They have volume control but no RPM adjustment.
Ailurophilia is the “love of cats.”
A cat has 32 muscles in each ear.
Egyptians shaved their eyebrows as a sign of mourning when they lost a beloved cat.
75% of all yellow or orange tabbies are male. And I own one and he is awesome.
Cats can’t see the surface of water. This is why lots of them like running water and will drink out of/play in a fountain. This also means that some cats are bad drinkers and using wet food can ensure they get enough liquid in their diet!
Cats are the only domestic animal that develop an entirely vocal “language” to communicate with humans. Every domestic cat has their own “language” & different households of cats have completely different “dialects”; they use the vocalizations only to communicate with their people, not with each other, and feral cats do not develop these vocalizations.
Cat’s can’t taste sweet. Or so I’ve been told.
