Cat Trapped after Three Weeks Loose at Boston Airport

Happy ending for this cat! “She probably put a dent in the mouse population.”

I must say, I’ve had two cats flown to me over the years, and I can’t imagine how escape from the carrier would have been possible. The airline had the door all zip-tied, extremely secure. Took me a process to get it open. I’ll bet the airline is reassessing their procedures. On the other hand, cats are amazingly good escape artists. At least she’s trapped, though, after her three weeks roaming Logan International.

I was Trapped in Logan when the Northeast FAA radar system completely failed during a Y2K test… after setting on the ramp for more than an hour the pilot explained the problem … having been an air traffic controller I suggested they refile their flight plan making it to Europe then once airborne file an amended flight plan to Quebec to Detroit …which they did

So happy she’s safe and home !

Love her name ~ “Rowdy” !

Many of us have been stuck in Logan.

None of us are domestic cats :cat2:.

The airport probably put a lot more effort into fixing things and cared more about the cat than about many customers over the years.

I’m surprised she didn’t neb her nose right off her face. Poor thing was probably exhausted, an airport is a nebby paradise!
