Cat treadmills?

Anyone have one? Love it hate it? There are five cats in my house of various ages. There’s an interesting dynamic for sure, but the young one can’t seem to make friends, because he plays too rough! It’s like he waits all day for someone to play with him, then when one does, he scares the crap out of them with his exuberance! I just wonder if he would be happier with some exercise. He doesn’t really play with toys or me. He really just wants to tear someone up! I’m just not sure it’s a good idea to spend that much money on an experiment. Thoughts?

I don’t know how I’d ever get my cats to use a treadmill

I’d think a cat hamster ball would work better…

I have never seen a cat using a treadmill except in videos online. Dogs, otoh, I know several who were pretty easy to train to it. But they all used human treadmills, which you can pretty much pick up for free off kijiji about a month after Christmas most years.

I want one of those cat wheels SO BAD.

But MAN are they costly, and then where to put it? Not a small piece of furniture.

I think it would be cheaper just to get another buddy for him to play with
