Is there a good (not cheap) Dover-like catalog for western stuff? My birthday is coming up and my mom wants ideas…
http://www.hitchingpostsupply.com/ Not sure if they’re still publishing a catalog, but they used to.
http://www.sstack.com/ Schneiders puts out a big catalog a couple of times a year.
smith brothers is another one.
Oooh, thanks - lots to look at now!
Stateline tack does western as well
Smith Brothers is owned by Dover and is essentially their western division.
I also like Schneiders and Rods. Hobby Horse is awesome for “fancy” show clothes.
I found one
Riding Warehouse
http://www.ridingwarehouse.com/western.html
is a new one I found, free shipping over $50, and CHEAP prices on most things. I’ve ordered there multiple times and their shipping is super fast. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, they sometimes can get things in for you if you are not in a huge hurry.
Just got the new NRS catalog in the mail. It’s giant! Spent about an hour going through everything

Me too, got it yesterday.
Lots of interesting stuff there of all kinds, for all kinds of people.
Western boots are getting wild colored!
PARD’S!!!
Chick’s Saddlery who has hooked up with Horse.com
you have to look for quality over price but you can get some good stuff
best of luck looking
